Bollywood in Fonty’s hood

img_2435Yesterday I spent the afternoon at a Pakistani friend’s house watching Bollywood films, eating fabulous Indian and Pakistani dishes, and playing with my friend’s adorable children (notice my friend’s daughter eating lunch in the photo to the left).

We watched two films: Delhi-6 (a new film about a neighborhood in Delhi) and Ghajini (a film that pretty much followed the same storyline as the American movie, Memento, that came out a few years ago). Although neither of the films contained much singing and dancing (my favorite aspect of Bollywood films), they were both quite good, and it was fun to watch them with girlfriends(see photo below) who were oogling over their favorite actors (all love Amir Khan) and actresses, who are so strikingly beautiful.
