Legitimately, the best boulangerie in Fontainebleau

So in my first post for today about the doctor’s office visit, I neglected to include a photo. img_1966But, in order not to disappoint you readers who look forward to my daily photos, I included a photo I took this afternoon of the best boulangerie in town (according to my French teacher who has lived here her whole life). There was a line outside the door today (as you can see in the photo), and apparently on Sundays there is a line that stretches around the corner—the French love their bread, you know! Actually, when I had to take my placement test for the Sorbonne last Friday the oral examination was all about the different types of French bread, how the French eat bread  for all of their meals, and how French bread is the best in the world. Seriously, these people are bread-obsessed. And, I can see why—my baguette that I bought today (which cost only 80 cents) was warm from the oven, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside—-perfection!
